Step 1: Clone the integration
Go to the GitHub repository and clone it locally
Step 2: Install Zapier CLI
Make sure you have Node.js installed, then install the Zapier CLI
Step 3: Authenticate with Zapier
Log in to your Zapier account from the CLI
Step 4: Push the app to Zapier
From the project directory, push the integration. This makes the Leadtime app available in your Zapier account (privately).
Step 5: Connect Leadtime
When creating a Zap:
Select Leadtime (private app)
Authenticate using a Leadtime API key
Choose triggers, searches, or actions
Step 6: Build and activate your Zap
You can now:
Create tickets
Update projects
Sync data to Slack, CRM, spreadsheets, and more
Choose Leadtime as the trigger app
Select a trigger (e.g. new or updated ticket)
Connect Slack as the action
Customize the message using Leadtime fields
Test and activate the Zap
